“Mlabri” human race during Stone Age who live until now which is
called “Phi Tong Luang” by Northern Thai people. Mlabri are quite shy,
they do not like to meet with other people and isolate themselves from
the people out of they own groups. They live in the forest and use
green leaves to make a shelter. Once the leaves turned brown they will
relocate their camp.
Ancestor of human race used to live like Phi Tuang Luang, the last
Stone Age people.

Lua or Lawah Villa - Sin Chan Khi
Prior to the established of Lanna Kingdom by King Mengrai Maharaj the
first king of Lanna Thai Kingdom which is now part of Thailand, Loa or
Lawah was originated people in Lanna Kingdom, Burma, Laos, Cambodia and
South Vietnam. They created their own alphabetwhich is used in Cambodia,
Morn, Thai, Tai, Tai Lanna and Sibsongpanna.
Their architecture can be found at Pasak temple in Chiang Saen,
Chiang Rai or “Vieng Kao” (old city) which is called by Chiang Mai
people. Loa is from Neolithic who used stone to buildtheir houses and
known the mechanic of weighing. Loa’s arts and culture had influenced to
Lanna Thai Kingdom until nowadays.You are warmly invited to stay at Sin
Chan Khi’s stone house.

Karen Villa - Sin Chan Khi
Karen Villa – Lao Kor a hunter who has beautiful daughters
Pakayor means human Karieng (Karen) means hunter. Northern Thai
people called Karen as Yang. Karen is the tribe which has many ethnic
groups and has several languages. Old generation Karen was believed in
ghost and big trees, but now they have religions such as Buddhism or
Christianity. There were originally from Burma, but after a war they had
moved to Thailand. They have separated into 4 groups. Pakayor is one
group of those 4 groups which has more populations. They have
their own alphabet which was created by the missionary who adapted it
from Burmese and Roman alphabets. Most people in Pakayor group had
become Christianity.
Karen is known as honest people and they are the great hunter in the
forest. They love freedom and peaceful. They have many beautiful songs
of their own. Karen women are strict in virginity and they will keep
their virgin for the men they loved.

Akha
Villa - Ami
Akha or Ekor in Northern Thai dialect. In Tai Yai and Sisongpanna “E”
is used in front of name and “Kor” means human in Thai.
Ami an Akha lady who called herself honey which mean human in Akha
language. Akha also mean human. Ami is a beautiful lady who looks after
herold parents by herself. She works hard to support them, but hard work
does not make her stop dreaming. She has her own happiness from day
dreaming. She loves colour so she painted her house so colourful. Her
house is opened to welcome her important guests.
She is very good at making rattan. She always singing while making a
rattan, it shows that she is a happy person. She said that “to make hard
work simpler is to enjoy it”, do you agree with her?

Vieng
Hua Vieng Fort Villa of Lieutenant Kamsue
Fondcome village is the fortress of Chiang Mai city. A young single
soldier, Lieutenant Kamsuek who looks after the bulwark of the village.
He is in charge of the east fence, the way to Khun Ewok (monkey)
mountain near Pao dam a local dam which distribute water source to ten
villages in this area (Pao is a big tree which produces sweet scent
flowers during summer time). Lieutenant Kamsuek is very popular of his
physical force.
He is well respect by the villagers. He sometimes works as a village
police. Since he is beloved by the villager, people here are very happy

Villa – Wang Wied
A young Hmong soldier the son of the great founder of the land for
Hmong people, General Wang Wow. General Wang Wow was the leader of Hmong
troop in the religion war. The war made him left his only son behide
with hope that his son will retrieve the freedom of their people. Wang
Wied’s hope seems far away for a young Hmong who has only little
experience. He is still missing the happiness of the civilization. He
does not know how his future will be like. The winner of the war may not
be the answer of happiness for him, but the true happiness is hope and

Yai Villa
Tai Yai people are living in Chan State, Burma. They love freedom and
they have their own language. The language is similar to Northern Thai
dialect. In the past, Northern Thai people used to trade with Tai Yai
people. The trade had lead to culture exchanges. Tai Yai arts and
cultres had influences on Northern Thailand arts and cultres. Ging Gala
Bird Dancing is one of the arts from Tai Yai which can be found at any
special ceremonies.
A noticeable from far away 4-storey building whit a transparent Ging
Gala Bird on its roof top, Tai Yai villa has 12 bedrooms. The decoration
of each room is influenced by Tai Yai arts and cultures. Each room has
different color shades. A small terrace of each room is a perfect place
for afternoon tea or reading with a nice breeze from the mountains and a

architecture of Fondcome Village Resort which is built at the right
latitude. When the sun is at the right angle the shadow of all stakes
will reflex in the pond. Stone and soil layer are above water layer.
Upper floor is the glass house. Glass roof and glass wall are base of
wind. Fire is from sunlight which makes the water in the pond warm.
Philosophy has no physical form thus untouchable, but can be felt. The
Northern Thai philosopher called this feeling “Kaew Khan”

Khanploy is a Tai Lue woman from
Sibsongpanna, Yunnan, China. Tai Lue is a group of Thai people who live
in the north area of Mae Khong River. She was the off-spring of Chao Mom
Kham Lue, the king of Jinghong Empire. Jinghong Empire still exists and
is now one of tourist attractions in Southern China. She had been
through a difficult religion war in Sibsongpanna. She decided to leave
all those painful memory behind and travelled to Fondcome Village with
her lover.
She was a great cook especially Tai Sibsongpanna and Chinese
foods. Whenever there was a special ceremony at the village she would
cook many delicious foods. Please come and try her delicious food at
Fondcome Village where you will experience an authentic Sibsongpanna
food. Her villa is Khanmok Kaew.

Kon Muang Villa - Sijuk
Yan is the name of the owner of this villa. He spent most of his
lifetime finding himself. Yan is Northern Thai dialect which means
famous. His life was up and down like a blowing wind in the middle of
the fire. Finally he found himself as an artist painting. Yan's
close friends called him Juk, but he was known by people in Fondcome
Village as Luang Por Juk. After having explored a sinful world for most
of his life, Juk decided to become a monk. He left his house to live in
a temple nearby. His house was then
used by the villager to treat their guests. You can feel the arts spirit
in Sijuk Villa where
paint brush, canvas, and acrylic colours are all there to remind us of a
great artist.
Kon Muang Villa has 2 storey and 2 bedrooms. Bo leaves and gold leaves
are used to decorate the rooms. Bo free is considered holy free for
Buddhism. Bo leaves are used
in thes rooms to reflect Sijuk's monkhood life.
Kon Muang Villa - Uncle Morn Uncle Morn is a landscape designer of Fondcome Village. He believes that
one rice grain
is more important than money and treasure. One grain of rice can produce
many
rice crops and therefore can fill up a farmer's rice born.

Missionary Villa – Daniel McGilvary
Daniel McGilvary was an American Presbyterian missionary who
played an important role in the expansion of Protestantism into northern
Thailand. McGilvary continued active evangelistic work, including
visiting established Christian groups, up until his death on 22 August
1911, in Chiang Mai. Throughout his life, his colleagues and the general
public held McGilvary in great esteem, and businesses and government
offices in Chiang Mai were officially closed in mourning on the day of
