Facilities
  The resort is an ideal ‘retreat’ for Seminars, Conferences and
Meetings as well as for Weddings and Receptions of all kinds.
Up to
eighty participants or guests can be comfortably accommodated in a large
hall where the only distraction might be the wonderful views of the
Lanna Countryside through the windows. A full range of Audio/Visual
equipment as well as appropriate seating and lighting arrangements are
available
The Golden Pine Resort consists of 80 beautifully designed cottages
located in the heart of the Lanna countryside. The site was previously a
rural village and is surrounded by Rice Fields on either side. The
perception of tranquillity is enhanced by the backdrop of distant mist
enshrouded hills which are the beginning of the vast Himalaya Range

This Swimming Pool is one of the focal points of the Resort and its
cool refreshing waters never cease to bring pleasure and enjoyment

Excursions
A variety of half and full day Excursion Tours are available which
can be booked at the Resort. These include a visit to the Golden
Triangle which in former days was well known for its Poppy cultivation
and Opium Manufacture. The busy border town of Mae Sai is also very
interesting with its multitude of colourful goods on sale. A visit to
the Mekong Delta which includes an exhilarating boat ride is also an
event to be enjoyed by all. A most agreeable evening diversion is to
visit the Night Bazaar at ChiangRai when all manner of Hill Tribe
handicrafts are on display and for sale as souvenirs. Longer tripe to
Thailand’s second City of ChiangMai are also available and much much
more besides! It is simply a mater of ‘time and inclination’ as the
possibilities for side trips are endless!

where the splendour of the star studded tropical night sky can be fully
appreciated. Every evening there is some form of entertainment such as
music and a singer, to enhance the pleasure of the evening meal
* The Sang Tawan Restaurant is another interesting possibility to
enjoy a variety of authentic Thai Food with a choice of both National
and Northern Thai mouth watering dishes
Swimming Pool
 The
Golden Pine is a Four Star Resort situated in the midst of rolling
countryside and surrounded by Paddy Fields which, at harvesting time,
resemble a vast ocean of gold. The Resort’s location is just 10 minutes
from the International airport and 25 minutes from ChiangRai town. The
Resort consists of 80 self contained fully air conditioned Cottages
which are designed to blend seamlessly with the unspoilt rural
countryside. Each has a Veranda at the rear with a seat to enjoy the
wonderful ambiance and fresh clean air. Local timbers have been used for
the interior of the cottages featuring traditional Lanna styling and are
equipped with Mini Bar, Satellite Television and IDD telephones

adjoining bathrooms are fully equipped with hot and cold water and have
