'The Colour of life at Baan Koh Mak'
Hello !! Welcome to our place, If you'd like to have a great special time.
Here, we are on "Koh Mak", a medium island off Koh Chang where nature, adventure, and convenience come togther. It's very easy to come. Why don't you take a trip to Koh Mak and enjoy yourself here !!!

Language tip :  Koh mean Island Koh Mak is a part of Trad province in the East of Thailand, and is not far from Bangkok (about 4 hours by car)

Geographic tip : Bangkok is Capital City of Thailand it's very easy to come from Bangkok to Trad by car or by coach.

From Bangkok to Trad : There are two ways to get there, the first one is by your private car and another one is by bus...

If you're got your own car : From Bangkok, you can drive to Trad in 3 different routs as follows
1) Sukhumvit Road (The highway no. 3): From Bangna pass through Chonburi > Rayong > Chantaburi > and get to Trad. This way is approximately 385 Km.
2) Bangna - Trad Road (The highway no. 344) : After you get to Chonburi Province, take the path to Baan-Bueng District along the highway no. 344 until reaching Klang District, Rayong Procince. Then take the highway no. 3 there to go pass through Chantaburi and then Trad. This way is approximately 315 Km.
3) Bangkok - Chonburi Road (Motorway) : From The ring road, it's got many points to get on to the Motoway. At the end of the Motorway is jointed to the highway no. 36, pass through Baan-Bueng District > Chantaburi and then get to Trad.

If you take a coach : There are two bus stations that you could catch a bus from (up to your convenience)

Ekamai Station : air-conditioned buses
Bangkok - Trad From Eastern bus Terminal, Ekamai Road. For more information, call (+66)023914164, (+66)0223912504
Departure time : from 06:00 a.m. until 24:00 p.m. everyday (the bus departs every hours) Travel time approximately 5 hours.

:: fare round trip 357 baht / person

Mor-Chid Station (New Mor Chid) : air-conditioned buses
Bangkok-Trad form northern bus terminal, kampaeng petch 2 road.

Departure time : from 06:00 a.m. until 23:00 p.m. everyday (the bus departs every hours) Travel time is approximately 4.5 hours.

:: fare round trip 366 baht / person

How to go to sea port : After you arrived to Trad bus station, you need to take a "Song-Theaw" to Leam-Ngob port. You can get on a Song-Theaw on front of the main maket fo Trad.

From Koh Mak (Ao-Nid Pier) - Naem Ngob
Departure time : only one trip everyday, 08:00 a.m.
Travel time approximately 3 hours.

For you, who like adventures, nature and wanna get some activities while you are here

If hiking is too strenuous and you want to travel around Koh Mak or some neighboring islands, we have both car and boat service for sight seeing and you can get the full benefit of our natural surroundings.

After you finish seeing the beaty of the Koh Mak landscape, why don't you think about seeing the life under the sea... Yeah !! Many corals and sea animals under the sea are waiting to say hello to you. Come or just do some snorkeling to see how beautiful they they are.
If you wish to see them more closely, we also have a scuba diving service available.
Enjoy the sea itself by enjoying some water sports. We have canoes available and wonderful surf.
A laundry and souvenir shop is also provided.
