Mandalai Hotel, a fabulous
boutique hotel newly opened summer 2007. It is the first exclusive
boutique hotel on Phangan Island located in the heart of Chaloklum
Bay, where is a sleepy fisherman's village on the less crowded north
side of Phangan Island. The Hotel itself, however, is chic and
modern. It is situated on beachfront enjoying spectacular views out
to sea and surrounded by a necklace of mountains.
The Mandalai Hotel consists of twelve superbly appointed rooms
and suites located around our central white terrazzo swimming pool.
Ten suites are all inclusive of their own private Jacuzzi hot tubs
and are spacious with all amenities that one would expect of a
boutique property. All rooms and suites come with fine bed linen, 29
flat-screen TVs with DVD players and endless DVD options to borrow
from the front desk, a well stocked mini-bar, in-room safes, IDD
telephone, modern bathroom fixtures, private in-room dining, spa and
massage treatments, and other accoutrements. Wireless Internet is
also available through out the property.
Dining at the Hotel is a Gastronomic treat at the adjoining
Sheesha Bar & Restaurant--a lounge that overlooks the bay. A
minimalist bar and restaurant offer a range of both Asian and
Western cuisines in a relaxed environment. Dinners can choose either
indoor dinning or alternatively take in views from the beach terrace
area. Either way this is Al Fresco dining the way it should be.
The Mandalai Hotel offers a unique experience with unique
facilities. A 55-feet converted fishing boat is available to take
you to clear and tranquil waters surrounding the Island for relaxed
day trip or overnight romantic interlude. Massage is also a treat at
Mandalai using natural herbs and oils. Massage away your stress and
woes in either comfort of your suite or at our dedicated massage and
treatment facility.

* Check out is 12:00 noon. Occupancy is two persons per suite or room- double beds only.
* All suites have Jacuzzi baths.
* All suites and rooms have 29"TV, DVD, Mini Bar, & Air Conditioning,
Wi-Fi in all areas of the property, room safes, bathgowns, slippers and bathroom accessories.
* Cots in rooms & suites for children up to 4 years of age, free on application.
* Fold up beds in suites or rooms for children 5-12 years of age
* Children over 12 years of age - full room rates.
* Transport to & from the Thongsala Pier to the Hotel in the Mandalai car 400 baht each way.
* An all inclusive rate per day is available for 2 persons that includes room or suite, motorbike
lunch or dinner at the room rates listed above plus an extra cost of 1,500 baht per day
inclusive of Vat & Service Charge. Transport, if required, add a one time cost of 800 baht
to and from the Thongsala Pier to the Hotel in the Mandalai car.
* A compulsary minimum stay of 3 nights with festive dinners is required over the Christmas
and New Year periods.
